Oct 16th- Party time!

And then it was time to celebrate with all of our loved ones. Our reception was in the old Fort Collins armory with beautiful brick walls and original hard wood floors. With yummy food, good wine, beautiful decorations, a rockin' DJ, so many of our close friends and family, and each other- it really was perfect. I just kept closing my eyes and trying to take it all in and enjoy the moment- it was a feeling of pure bliss!

My grandparents were only a few days away from their 59th wedding anniversary.

The centerpieces! My mom and I tried out many different ideas, but they were either too expensive or didn't seem right. Then one day I saw 2 candles in the background of a Pottery Barn magazine. I called my mom to tell her about it, and she had cut out the exact same picture! Everything quickly came together after that.
The acorns were collected and sent from my family in Michigan.


Jamison's mom baked all of the cookies for the favors. She had Jamison and I do cookie taste testing a month before the wedding to pick out our favorite cookies and frosting. :-)

Jamison's mom made us a scrapbook of everything that went into planning the wedding. People then signed pages for the book as they walked in.
