Honeymoon in Mexico

We left Sunday night/ Monday morning after the wedding and headed to Isla Mujeres (Women's Island), an island that is only a 30 minute ferry ride from Cancun. We stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed relaxing, reading, and enjoying the sunsets. My only complaint was that it wasn't long enough.

In the Atlanta airport (yes, we took a non-direct route from Colorado to Cancun) and very tired.

A picture of our resort.

Beautiful sunsets.

The hotel had a very nice beach and pool.

Walking around the island.

There would be a building that was half in ruins next to a newly renovated mansion.

It was fun to watch the pelicans hunt (even though I don't like birds)

We rented a motocycleta for a day.

Teal blue water!

A somewhat strange statue.

A baby sea turtle- only 1 day old! The man who let us hold them was so cute. You could tell he just loved his job.

Isla Mujeres has a sea turtle refuge. They grow to be so big.

The balcony of our suite.

These chips that I loved.

And while I ate chips, Jamison went swimming :-)

I love trees.

At the airport in Cancun. Time to go home :-(
