Em's Nursery

We love curling up in the glider with little Em in her nursery.
The whole room was inspired by the beautiful quilt that Grandma Martin made for Emmery using fabric I picked out from Amy Butler.
Here are some pictures of her room...

The picture is of her Great-Grandpa Malloy when he was a little boy.
Grandma Brewer found the perfect jar to hold the chalk!

The crib was given to us by Jeanne, a friend from work.

The glider is so comfortable!

Here is what you see when you walk into the nursery.

Above her crib are pictures of the women in her life when they were little girls: her Grandma Brewer (upper left), Great-Grandma Malloy (upper right), me (center bottom), and Grandma Martin (lower right). The upper center spot is for her birth announcement, which Denise (our neighbor) has designed and is printing on her printing press- they are going to be stunning!
Jamison and Grandpa Brewer spray painted the frames, and Kelly, Tracey, and I antique-glazed them.

Emmery gets blessed every day with holy water from her Grandma Martin.

I found the little rocking chair at a secondhand store.

Here is a closeup of the quilt.

Her closet has so many cute clothes- she is one lucky girl!

    2. I love how you have brought the past and the present together! What about a picture of the special cradle Great-Grandpa Malloy built for his future grand-children and great-grand children?
